Family booted from American Airlines flight following complaints about their body odour

Yossi Adler, his wife, Jennie, and their 19-month-old daughter were ready to fly from Miami to Detroit Wednesday night when they were escorted off of their flight, according to WPLG. "There's nothing wrong with us", he added.

American Airlines ejected a MI family from an airplane in Miami on Wednesday after several passengers complained of the family's purported body odor.

"Our Miami airport team members were concerned about the comfort of our other passengers due to the odor", said Alexis Aran Coello, American Airlines corporate communications manager.

"I shower every day", Adler said.

"I want them to own up to what really happened and to tell me the truth", he said.

The plane left with their luggage, their daughter's vehicle seat and stroller.

A family was allegedly kicked off their American Airlines flight in Florida after passengers complained about their body odor.

"I said it's because of my religion you kicked me off the plane - it's anti-Semitism that you kicked me off the plane", said Adler.

Jennie Adler said they began approaching people in the airport terminal for a second opinion. "They have been rebooked on a flight Thursday".

"As I go to the gate...they are all holding their nose, using paper to blow around their nose, you know pretending it smells", the man said. The airline said the family was booked into a hotel for Wednesday night and given meal vouchers.

The couple has since gotten a flight back home and said they hoped to find their belongings once in Detroit.

Adler believes there was a different reason as to why he and his family got kicked off the plane, although he did not elaborate.

American Airlines staff left the family with just the clothes on their backs. But he feels employees of American Airlines were very disrespectful.

Jennie said that she approached several people in the airport and asked them to give a smell test.

American Airlines said in a statement that the Adlers were asked to deplane after "multiple passengers, along with our crew members, complained about Mr. Adler's body odor. We'll take good care of your mom'".
