Cops Show Up At R. Kelly's Residence Following Hostage Reports

Last week, the Fulton County District Attorney announced it's opened an official investigation into R. Kelly - who owns a home in Johns Creek GA - "as a direct result of the allegations made" in Lifetime's bombshell "Surviving R. Kelly" documentary.

Since Surviving R. Kelly aired, multiple updates have broken out each day about Kelly's situation.

The Clarys met R. Kelly when Azriel was aged 17.

Ms Allred said Kelly sent the letter in October to another of Ms Rodgers' lawyers.

At a press conference on Monday, Allred revealed that she is representing a woman named Faith Rodgers who said that Kelly had mistreated her.

IL officials say a concert in Springfield that was to be hosted by R. Kelly can not take place in the wake of new sexual misconduct allegations against the R&B star. It alleged that the singer was holding women against their will and running a "sex cult".

Do you remember when, in 2002, RnB superstar R Kelly was filmed urinating on a child and the world laughed and laughed and bought more of his music and made him an even bigger star?

Rodgers, now 21, gave a brief statement, saying, "No woman should be victim shamed, harassed or retaliated against because she asserted her rights and spoke her truth". During that time she says Kelly instructed her to call him "daddy" and would lock her up for hours at a time.

"She was vulnerable and impressionable".

Greenberg noted the timing of documentary, after sexual misconduct allegations that have derailed the careers of several famous men.

Despite this evidence of Kelly clearly being aware of Aaliyah's age, the singer's new attorney, Steven Greenberg, insisted to ABC News last week that his client was unaware of her being 15.
