We'll likely see the Pixel Slate announced later this month as part of Google's annual October event.

T3.com will be in the crowd at today's Made By Google event, so make sure to check back for the latest gadget announcements, as well as our reaction to the new Google-branded hardware.

Background: Google will introduce its new Pixel smartphones tomorrow, and the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL are expected to arrive, as both phones have been leaking for months now, and we do have quite a few info when it comes to both of these phones. More importantly, you may want to know what hardware products will be unveiled.

While only two days apart us from the MadeByGoogle event (scheduled on October 9th), Google Pixel Slate Chromebook images leaked online ahead of its official launch.

Pixel 3 XL

For photography, the new Pixel 3 series is expected to borrow camera specifications from the predecessor, as there is nothing much surprising in this department.

For instance, the Google Pixel 3 XL has a deep and ugly notch (obviously!), it comes with 4 GB RAM and Snapdragon 845 chipset. The phone features a 6.3-inch display, a single-lens camera with 12.2-megapixel lens on the rear, 128 GB of storage and 4GB of RAM.

In a leak, a tipster sent ChromeUnboxed an image of the blue pen that appears in MySmartPrice's report, which reportedly came from Google's United Kingdom storefront as a recommendation alongside the existing white and silver models. New camera features include Top Shot, Photobooth and Super Res Zoom. Finally, Google has also added a new Flip to Shhh feature which will kill all your notifications. The Google Home Hub will support voice assistant, and it will also come with built-in support for YouTube and other Google apps. Google is also bundling the USB Type-C earphones and a lot of dongles to make up for the missing headphone jack. The phone will be launched in India on November 1. This new Slate tablet by Pixel will go head-on against the new Apple iPad Pro, and it might also possibly come with a fingerprint sensor.

The 2018 launch of Google Pixel shows that the smartphone will be running on Android 9.0 Pie out of the box.
