The FC Barcelona forward scored a hat trick Tuesday in his team's 4-0 Champions League Group B win over PSV.

The Mexican worldwide starred for his country at the World Cup and that is said to have draw interest from clubs around Europe.

Lionel Messi scored his first goal for Barcelona in the 32nd minute through a fantastic free kick after Nick Viergover brought down Frenchman Ousmane Dembele.

PSV, back in the Champions League after a one-year absence, are winless in seven matches at the group stage of the European competition.

Ernesto Valverde's team predictably dominated the opening 30 minutes, but PSV looked unsafe on the counter-attack with Steven Bergwijn curling a shot just wide of Marc-Andre ter Stegen's goal and Hirving Lozano missing one from distance after a speedy run down the right flank.

"The only thing I have asked them is not to ask Messi for the shirt when we're playing". And, the Blaugrana are one of the clubs that have been interested in signing him, alongside Manchester United.

You would think after a stunning debut season for PSV Eindhoven and a highly impressive World Cup, in which he scored Mexico's winning goal against Germany, that Hirving Lozano could not do much more to enhance his reputation in 2018. "But for me, he is still the best in the world, even if sometimes he doesn't win the Ballon d'Or".

Here's to lots more Messi magic in the Champions League this season. "I know they will ask him for the shirt, but they shouldn't do it at halftime".
