Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and IO Interactive Announce HITMAN™ 2

Hitman 2 arrives on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One systems November 13. You can check out the reveal trailer for Hitman 2 below which features a ton of different various ways to assassinate the racetrack target in roughly a minute. From sun-drenched streets to dark and unsafe rainforests, each intricate location provides multiple paths to discover and unparalleled game depth. Agent 47 is tasked with eliminating the elusive Shadow Client, first revealed in the previous Hitman title, and everything changes once 47 learns of their identity and of his past. Sniper Assassin mode allows you to jump into the Hitman series with another player and work together to take down targets.

As suspected, Hitman 2 is essentially a follow-up to the previous season of Hitman.

This marks the return of the franchise after the abandonment from Square Enix, and the developer promised "intricate sandbox levels" for players to enjoy in the new game.

Hitman 2 will be released on November 13, but it's already available for pre-order in a number of different editions with varying levels of cool expansions and whatnot. Hitman 2 also gives you more opportunities to use your sniper rifle than before.

One of the most notable things to come from this announcement is that Hitman 2 will not be released episodically like its predecessor. The studio has claimed that the sequel will ideal the sandbox assassination gameplay introduced in the last game.

Hitman 2 is official; publisher Warner Bros. Now two years later, IO Interactive could very well be teasing either another big content drop or even a proper sequel to Hitman.

The next installment in the Hitman series has been announced. A standard edition priced at $59.99, a Silver Edition for $79.99 and a Gold Edition for $99.99. It's clear the freedom is the goal for Hitman 2 and IO Interactive appears determined to deliver a more immersive experience.
