Following the incident, Jeong returned to the stage where he was greeted with a round of applause before he then finished his set.

Holmberg told the publication Jeong continued with his show once he and a paramedic tended to the unidentified woman, who was later transported by ambulance to a local hospital. "The timing was very flawless, Ken just jumped from the stage to help", says Holmberg, noting that the woman appeared to be having a seizure. At first the "Hangover" star, who was performing live at the time, thought he was being heckled but quickly realized the situation was far more serious than that.

"He couldn't see what was going on with the lights".

Witness Heather Holmberg tweeted out that Jeong was in the middle of his act when a disruption began in the crowd. "AND flipping amusing!" Holmberg said in her tweet.

Jeong, who received his medical degree in 1995 from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Medicine, reportedly cleared the area and helped the woman regain consciousness.

Jeong has also appeared in The Hangover movie franchise and short-lived TV series Dr. Ken. A break in a comedy contest led him to Los Angeles, where he performed sets after long days in an HMO clinic, The Washington Post reported in 2011. He also starred in the NBC sitcom "Community".
