American Gods season 2 begins production

American Gods Season 2 is coming in 2019. The second season of "American Gods" will offer fans a meeting of the gods, and all the sci-fi drama they can handle.

Neil Gaiman has released an official video announcing the start of production for the much anticipated second series of the hit Prime Original series, American Gods. The location is home not only to many unique collections but also serves as a backdrop to a pivotal moment in the series and book.

"The first season was all about getting to the House on the Rock", Gaiman explains.

The carousel is found in tourist attraction known as 'The House on the Rock' in Wisconsin, a weird real-life location that was been briefly referenced at the end of season one. The cast also includes Ian McShane, Emily Browning, Pablo Schreiber, Yetide Badaki, Bruce Langley, Crispin Glover, and Orlando Jones. World, Cloris Leachman (Raising Hope) as Zorya Vechernyaya, Peter Stormare (Fargo) as Czernobog, Mousa Kraish (Fast & Furious) as The Jinn, Omid Abtahi (Argo) as Salim, Chris Obi (Snow White and the Huntsman) as Anubis, and Demore Barnes (12 Monkeys) as Mr. Ibis.

American Gods is the latest show to take 2018 off following Game of Thrones, Stranger Things, Rick & Morty and others. The fans will get to see a lot of familiar characters on the show, as the war between the Old gods and the New gods starts. It seems Season 2 will see Wednesday gather the Old Gods to discuss their plan to stop the New Gods. Executive producer Neil Gaiman made public his desire to stick with the series regardless, but Gillian Anderson exited the show after Fuller and Green left, and Starz reportedly had trouble finding producers willing to fill the roles of Fuller and Green.
