With AP Photos.Didi Gregorius had another big game at Yankee Stadium with a two-run homer and three RBIs, and Gary Sanchez homered twice to help CC Sabathia and NY romp past the Minnesota Twins 8-3. Minnesota is now 8-9 overall and 3-6 on the road. The home run was absolutely majestic and maybe the four for four night gets Stanton going.

The boo-birds did not rain down on Giancarlo Stanton Monday night in the Bronx.

Minnesota had a disappointing showing in the Sunshine State as they were swept over the weekend by the Rays.

The left-handed pitcher threw five pitches - each registered between 71-75 miles per hour - and three of them were put in play. The Twins are scoring 4.06 runs per game this year while allowing 4.94 per contest.

Andujar is among four players in the last 20 years to get an extra-base hit in seven straight games.

After two starts in which he gave up six earned runs, Tanaka needed a good start to get back on track.

Miguel Andújar (3) continued his torrid hitting with a solo home run to left field in the second inning.

Jose Berrios gets the start for the Twins tonight.

Berrios enters with a scoreless streak of 14 innings and has issued one walk to his first 99 hitters faced.

The good news is the Japanese has still found a way to pick up two wins, with NY averaging seven runs in those games compared to only 1.5 in the two losses. He is 2-1 through four starts with a 1.63 ERA and a 0.58 WHIP. They have lost his last six Tuesday starts as well.

Four Twins relievers allowed a total of nine runs in 3 1/3 innings during the blowout loss.

NY has been up and down this season though they did win three of four from the Blue Jays over the weekend. Babe Ruth (1921) and Alex Rodriguez (2007) are the only other Yankees with that many homers and RBIs in the first 22 games. Eventually New York should bust the game open.

Tyler Austin went 2-for-5 with a career-high four RBI, hitting a two-run homer in the eighth after ripping a two-run double in the seventh.

A day after making his debut, Torres singled in the eighth, ending an none-for-seven start for the prized 21-year-old.

CC Sabathia trots out to the mound for his fourth start of the season and his second since coming off the DL for the Yankees.

The Twins are 4-1 in Berrios' last five starts and 2-10 in his last 12 road starts. Berrios has been very solid so far this season, and Sabathia just isn't as overwhelming as he once was. Look for him to handcuff the Yankees enough that the Twins scrape out a win here. The way this season has gone, it remains to be seen whether they stay hot or not. They have allowed 40 runs over the four-game losing streak.

In better news for the fan, the Yankees would go on to destroy the Twins, 14-1.
