The festival's music is eclectic, with a huge rang of genres on offer including rock, indie, electronica and hip hop.

As if 100 degree weather wasn't enough at this year's Coachella Music and Arts Festival, the crowds couldn't stop sweating with last night's historic performance by none other than Beyoncé. The star's performance was dubbed "legendary". Beyoncé was supposed to headline Coachella in 2017 but had to cancel because she was pregnant with twins, according to CNN.

But it might be hard to find any unofficial pictures or videos from her performance. Last night, the singer became the first female of colour to headline Coachella, and not one to miss out on the iconic festival, Adele chose to tune in via a stream from the comfort of her own home. Eventually, JAY-Z joined his wife to rap on "Deja Vu", but one of the most exciting moments was still to come: a Destiny's Child reunion!

Beyoncé was supposed to perform at Coachella past year, but had to forego the opportunity because of her pregnancy - she delivered her twins last June. New name alert: "Beychella!". Jay-Z and sister Solange also made cameos during her set.

The theme was "Beyoncé Homecoming 2018", and boy did she bring it on home!

The crowd was treated with memorable and incredible jams from the '90s and early 2000s, singing "Lose My Breath", "Soldier", and "Say My Name" wearing matching black and bronze ensembles for the iconic looks from the band's reign on the charts. "This is everything and more that I dreamed of it being", she gushed.
