Furious Conor McGregor reacts to being stripped of UFC title

Footage of the incident was uploaded to Instagram by MMA fighter Felice Herrig with the caption "Conor McGregor causing trouble".

It was not clear what triggered McGregor's assault but it appeared to be linked to the UFC's decision to strip him of his world title.

"What happened today was criminal, disgusting and makes me sick", he said.

Nurmagomedov was a clear fan favorite.

White told reporters that there "is a warrant out for Conor McGregor's arrest and they are looking for him right now".

UFC 223 takes place this Saturday, April 7 at the Barclay's Center in Brooklyn, New York.

After it was confirmed Tony Ferguson was forced to withdraw from the main event at UFC 223, the 29-year-old aimed an x-rated jibe at the American.

March 4, 2017: Ferguson and Nurmagomedov are scheduled to fight for an interim lightweight title at UFC 208, but the fight is cancelled when Nurmagomedov has complications with his weight cut.

Nurmagomedov is confident of getting the win against Holloway and then he would like to fight UFC legend Georges St. Pierre. And this time, for the undisputed lightweight championship.

The Irishman's interest in UFC 223 is further heightened by the fact his team-mate and good friend Artem Lobov will be fighting on the card.

"One of these guys (Nurmagomedov and Holloway) will be the champion". "He's taking a short-notice fight against me". "I respect him [but] it's going to be long night".

He said: "No interim champ".

Holloway (19-3) has won 12 fights in a row dating back to 2013, including back-to-back technical knockouts of Jose Aldo.

McGregor and company attacked the buses and even attempted to throw a guardrail at the window. McGregor last fought at all in a boxing match he lost to Floyd Mayweather Jr. on August 26, 2017.

A still image captured from Instagram video by Felice Herrig that purports to show fighter Conor McGregor throwing a guard rail at other fighters' buses on Thursday, April 5, 2018, at the Barclays Center in NY. Not that McGregor ever needs help selling a fight, but that matchup now sells itself. Ferguson will remain the division's No. 1 contender.

White said McGregor, UFC's biggest box office attraction, would fight this year. Apparently McGregor damaged the bus in some way, because UFC lightweight Michael Chiesa was cut by some glass and injured.

"In jungle, only one king", Nurmagomedov said. Let us know your thoughts on the matter in the comments section below!

White said if Holloway was willing to fight that much, than "anything is possible".
