The six-year-old sat in between her parents, Jay-Z and Beyonce, as she bid up to $19,000 for an acrylic painting of a young Sidney Poitier, according to E!

Beyonce and Jay-Z's daughter Blue Ivy Carter created a viral moment when she threw up bids at an art auction to the tune of Dollars 19,000.

During the auctioning part of the night, Blue Ivy couldn't help herself when she began to bid on her favourite piece. Beyonce also received a heartwarming pre-recorded video message from Michelle Obama who saluted her for being an inspiration to young women.

This moment of Beyoncé and Jay-Z's daughter bidding for art at an auction is a masterpiece. Beyoncé and her daughter wore matching gold dresses for the event.

"There is something that feels very off about receiving this award from my mother", she joked in her acceptance speech for their Humanitarian Award.

"I love you. I am inspired by you".

When you're the six year-old daughter of two moguls, sometimes your weekly allowance gives you the opportunity to bid a couple bucks on artwork from time to time. She raised me to believe that giving was not an option, but a privilege and a responsibility.

The event, hosted by Beyonce's mother Tina Knowles at the WACO Theater Center, was themed "WACO to Wakanda" after the fictional African nation in Black Panther.
