This roll out will continue slowly over the next couple of weeks, and then the publisher should launch Fortnite in the App Store proper for anyone who wants it.

Fortnite Mobile has officially announced the availability of this game for iOS devices on the popular microblogging website, Twitter. It's very likely that the studio sent out tons of invites to prospective players, but there are presumably even more waiting for their chance to download and play the game. However it should be noted that not everyone can get in on it right away.

To play Fortnite Mobile on tablet you will need at least an iPad Mini 4 or iPad Air 2 or better.

If you're a newcomer to Fortnite Battle Royale, the good news is that this is perhaps the most accessible version of the game thus far. As is the case with these updates, the patch brings a bunch of different adjustments and bug fixes to both Battle Royale mode and Save the World mode.
