Operation Safe Haven confirms death of two personnel in Plateau

President Muhammadu Buhari had visited the state recently to assess the situation and personally condole with communities ravaged by incessant killings.

The incident started less than 24 hours before the President's visit to the state.

That same day, there were also attacks in other villages including Nghakudung, Morok, Hottom, and Wareng - all in Bokkos - killing another 13 people. Two persons have died; more than seven people have been seriously injured by Fulani terrorists.

"Twenty-three persons were killed in an attack on Dundu village last night".

"There was an attack yesterday (Monday) in Bassa; as such, the commissioner of police, Plateau state command, has directed the DCP Taiwo Jebiyisu, a deputy commissioner of police in charge of the department of operations, to go to the scene of crime for an on-the-spot assessment", he said.
