Sports manufacturers Nike have revealed the new Nigeria kits ahead of the Super Eagles' World Cup campaign.

The new home kit features the customary white shirt with blue shorts and red detailing.

The jersey designs predominantly show light green background with bold white V-shaped patterns drawn on it. Africa Twitter in particular just couldn't get enough of how absolutely stunning and adorable the kits look.

According to Goal, the jerseys feature the home kits that pay tribute to the 1994 squad which they wore during the United States of America '94 World Cup qualifiers. "When football is on, everything stops".

Former Eagles player, Mutiu Adepoju, added his voice to the new design by saying: "It is a yes, yes for me". "Moreover, they celebrate everything we relish about our culture". "We built this kit and collection based on the players' full identities".

With so many iconic kits making their debuts at previous World Cups, brands are all hoping they are able to create "a classic" strip. "They are part of a resoundingly cool culture".

So, nothing particularly ground-breaking or memorable but a batch of inoffensively trim kits to unleash on the world stage 124 days from now.
