In addition to the above, Sellars seems to have a pretty solid track record when it comes to predicting announcements regarding Nintendo stuff, which this Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 rumor has ties to the Nintendo Switch. It's worth noting that Eurogamer made sure to state that it is still in the process of confirming a Nintendo Switch version of Black Ops 4. In a series of tweets, he declared that Call of Duty Black Ops IV will arrive this year; moreover, it's being ported to the Nintendo Switch.

According to industry insider and editor, Marcus Sellars, Call of Duty 2018 will in fact be Black Ops 4. Given the tremendous sales momentum of CoD: WWII due to the game's triumphant return to boots on the ground action, it's very likely that Activision will push Treyarch away from sci-fi and more towards visceral, old-school Call of Duty action. For most of the series' life, each new installment has been the best-selling game the year it came out. However, we may not need to wait on Activision, as new reports are claiming what 2018's Call of Duty game will be. Given Activision hasn't done this yet for Call of Duty 2018, we feel like we can say we'd really quite like to see a Switch port.

As expected, it will be released on both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, as well as PC, but more surprisingly, Sellars claims that it will also be available on the Nintendo Switch.

It makes sense for the developers to release "Black Ops 4", especially given how well "Black Ops 3" was received critically and how well it has sold.

Citing multiple sources, Eurogamer says that Black Ops 4 is now being developed by Treyarch, the same studio responsible for the first three Black Ops titles.
