Pulp Fiction: Family Of Five Arrested With 4 Tons Oranges In Vehicle

Cops in Sevilla, Spain were witness to a freakish scene when chased down and pulled over suspects whose cars were packed with nothing other than oranges.

Police pulled the little convoy over and, before going about their business, spotted the problem: the three cars were packed with oranges. The people in the vehicles were arrested on suspicion of theft, police said.

The oranges were all over the two vehicles and authorities suspected that they just didn't pick them off the ground, like one of the people told them. With so much fruit in the backseat, it would have been incredible had they gotten away with their suspected crime!

The huge stash of oranges was found after officers became suspicious about the reaction of three motorists on the road in between Torreblanca and Mairena de Alcor.

When police opened a door, a stream of oranges came tumbling out.

The Press also reported that a boat that was carrying fruit in Carmona, about 20 miles northwest of Seville, had reported theft of oranges hours earlier. Police also suspected that there was something wrong going on when they noticed that the vehicles were driving too close to each other.
