Nicole Eggert Details Scott Baio Sexual Abuse Allegations to Megyn Kelly

"Creep." This started a series of tweets in which she claims she was molested by him from ages 14 to 17 and went into details about the assaults.

Eggert said she lied to protect the show, but she's not lying now.

Later on Today, Eggert's attorney Lisa Bloom joined her and Kelly, where Kelly asked if Eggert was a willing participant to Baio's advances. She noted that this influenced her 2012 interview with Yahoo, in which she said the two became "really good friends" and that "everything is way more innocent than it was made out to be".

She described how Scott would allegedly grope her, fondle her, and pull her onto his lap while they were on set filming their show. He also was telling me, you know, 'You can't tell anybody, this is illegal, I'll go to jail, the show will be over, everyone will be sued, you'll be out of a job, you'll ruin everybody's life, ' and it's scary. "That was my delusion and that was my cover-up always". Eggert says the two "messed around" a "little bit during the show", but claims they did not engage in actual intercourse at the time. I apologized for pushing her too hard and should have been more sympathetic (but I wanted to break the story of them having sex) ...

"Only after Nicole Eggert was proven to be dishonest in her "sex at 17" allegations did she create a new story about sexual contact at an even younger age", the statement continues. Eggert then cautions that the Happy Days actor should be careful what he wishes for because she's looking into it.

Baio also pointed to a 2013 interview Eggert did with the gossip website the Dirty in which she laughingly talked about initiating sexual relations with him. "There was a lot of manipulation that went into it". They were in his vehicle and "he reached over and penetrated me with his finger", she said.

Baio responded to Eggert's tweets in a 16-minute Facebook Live video on Saturday, vehemently denying the allegations and claiming he could prove Eggert was 18 when they had sex. It wasn't a hold-me-down-rape-me kind of situation.

"She's making all of these claims about me - Nicole Eggert is - that are false", he said on Facebook Live over the weekend. "But I was 17".

Baio and Eggert starred together on the 1980's sitcom, Charles in Charge.

After playing the clip, Baio said: "So you heard it was way after Charles in Charge was done".

Eggert's "Charles in Charge" castmates, Alexander Polinsky and Adam Carl, have supported the actress and have come to her defense, recalling witnessing Baio's inappropriate behavior on set.

During the interview, Kelly mentions that Baio would rather Eggert file a police report than continue to make a public display on social media.
