Court Clerk Fired for Asking Meek Mill for Money at Hearing

The publication claims to have obtained the note, which was written by clerk Wanda Chavarria and addressed to Mr. Williams during his probation violation hearing.

Wanda Chavarria, who had been employed by the court system for almost three decades, told over the weekend that she had hoped Mill would look favorably upon her request because he was from Philadelphia. "Anything that you can do is very much appreciated".

Gabriel Roberts, a spokesman for the First Judicial District of Pennsylvania, said Tuesday that Chavarria had been terminated after a brief review of her conduct during the hearing.

Chavarria, who worked for the Philadelphia court system for close to three decades, said Brinkley wasn't aware of the note before she delivered Mill's sentence. Her actions are just the latest instance of alleged misbehavior in a case already rife with accusations of ethical misconduct.

But, instead of reducing himself to a court official's meal ticket, the 30-year-old made a decision to give his efforts to a more worthy cause. Her son did however get to stay in school and will graduate in May.

After Brinkley controversially sentenced Mill 2-4 years in jail for violating his probation, the rapper's lawyers claimed the judge has a personal vendetta against him because he refused to hire Mack and give Brinkley a shout out on a Boyz II Men cover song.

She told the site she thought Mill would do her the favor because they're both from Philadelphia.

However, TMZ reports that transcripts from the meeting where this allegedly happened relay no such thing.

He was sentenced to two to four years in prison for popping wheelies on his dirt bike, and for getting into a fight at a St. Louis airport.

Mill, 30, remains behind bars under minimum security at a state prison in Chester.
