The first 512GB microSD card in the world is finally here

The next logical step was a 512GB card, and while Samsung has been said to be working on an integrated solution, United Kingdom company Integral Memory has taken the wraps off its own device, beating the competition to the next storage step. It also meets V10 standards for video transfer rates, so it's designed for capturing full HD video.

Integral has already tested the performance of its new 512GB microSDXC card with a range of smartphones.

Last year SanDisk unveiled the world's largest microSD card.

Back in August 2017, Western Digital took the highest-capacity record for a microSD with its 400GB SanDisk Ultra microSDXC.

There is always an issue with memory on our devices.

Integral Memory's 512GB microSDXC V10, UHS-I U1 card will be available in the market in February 2018.

At the time of writing, Integral's 512GB microSD card has no retail price yet, but it's safe to assume it will cost a pretty penny. With the speed on offer and 512GB of storage, it should be the only card you ever need, especially if you are looking for a big card to stick inside a Switch or laptop. Most of the new generation smartphones come with dual Hybrid slots where you can use the second card slot to expand the memory of the phone. Additionally, there is no any information on the pricing of this new Integral's microSD card as of now.

Integral's latest memory card would ensure that the customer can store hundreds and thousands of high-quality photos. For more such updates, stay tuned with us!
