What's Better Than 1 New Dave Chappelle Comedy Special? Two

The comedian, who has previously criticized Trump's treatment of the "historically disenfranchised", has a new Netflix special coming out on New Year's Eve where he tackles Trump, the economy and race. The only actual thing we get from The Bird Revelation is Chappelle asking the Comedy Store crowd, "I mean it is really bad out here, isn't it?"

"You are poor", Chappelle said, before adding of Trump, "He's fighting for me!"

Chappelle, who lives in rural OH town Yellow Springs, said he sees Trump supporters all the time, and he said they're not as hateful as they're made out to be.

Chappelle has slammed Mr. Trump in the past.

Chappelle said he encountered many Trump voters on Election Day of past year: "To my surprise, you know what I didn't see?" I looked them right in their coal-smeared faces.

'I didn't see one deplorable face in that group. "I know the game now".

"It's a Celebration, Bitches" begins at 9:00 a.m. ET/PT, with all 28 episodes of Chappelle's Show running nonstop and culminating in a Midnight presentation of the seminal Chappelle stand-up special Killin' Them Softly.

"I know that rich white people call poor white people trash", he says.

"It's not like I wanted to give him a chance that night", he said.

Chappelle returns to the small screen with a new stand-up special, "Equanimity", set to stream on Netflix December 31, with a segment dedicated to his sympathy for "poor white" Trump voters.
