Mega Man 11 Revealed During 30th Anniversary Livestream

Capcom announced Mega Man 11 earlier today and it looks pretty. The game will come to Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC in late 2018.

In other Mega Man fan news, Capcom also announced Mega Man Legacy Collections 1 and 2 will be coming to popular consoles in the near future, along with Mega Man X collection.

Mega Man 11 will stay true to it's beloved action/side-scrolling roots but just with an updated look and 3D visuals. You can check out the announcement trailer released for the game today in the player below, along with some character artwork and screenshots. By the sound of it, though, it's going to be a big year for Mega Man fans. Mega Man 11 is - as the name suggests - the 11th main installment in the now-30-year-old Mega Man franchise.

Mega Man 11, which will be available for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC, keeps the traditional elements that made Mega Man so popular (side-scrolling action, hard platforming schemes, varying stages, upgradable weaponry based on boss battles) and gave it a next-gen console makeover. It's in regards to Mega Man Legacy Collection. Founded in 1983, the company has created hundreds of games including ground-breaking franchises Resident Evil®, Street Fighter®, Monster Hunter™, Ace Attorney®, Mega Man® and Devil May Cry®.
