Jose Mourinho: 'A draw would be positive'

Jose Mourinho says he doesn't expect to still be in charge of Manchester United in fifteen years time.

He said: "I have my contract that ends in May/June 2019, we are in October 2017, so I don't know what to say".

It was a lucky break for the Premier League high-flyers, who, despite dominating possession, had been struggling to create meaningful chances against the Portuguese champions, twice winners of the European Cup. "In one day it says I am going to sign a five-year contract, £1 billion per season", said Mourinho.

"Nothing is happening, I am not signing a new five-year contract and I am not leaving for Paris Saint-Germain". I think it's impossible to last for so long.

"I was asked how is it possible in modern football that any manager is going to last 15 to 20 years in the same club".

"Firstly, because the players don't know yet but, secondly, we have so many injuries, I think that should be something that you can view with nearly a guarantee of success because our options are so few that it is easy for you to guess the XI". I don't think I am going to end my career at Manchester United.

Manchester United will be big favorites to win this one even though they are away in Portugal.

'If in this moment I want to finish my career in four or five years, my ambition would be to end my career at Manchester United.

"Yes it's true that I haven't signed a new contract; but I'm also not thinking about leaving either".

The likes of Ander Herrera and Axel Tuanzebe were all smiles as the players locked hands during a game at the Estadio da Luz.

Zlatan Ibrahimović (knee), Paul Pogba (hamstring), Michael Carrick (calf), Marouane Fellaini (knee) and Eric Bailly (groin) all miss out.

"So for me words without any meaning and the FA committee is there to analyse and to make decisions, and no comments (from me)".
