Lady Gaga announces she will take a break in her career

The Toronto International Film Festival (or TIFF) is now happening up in Canada, and at the festival this past Friday, Lady Gaga debuted her upcoming Netflix documentary Gaga: Five Foot Two. She says, "My love life has just imploded". She explains that she still suffers muscle spasms from the hip injury that forced her to cancel her 2013 tour, the Born This Way Ball. It's like a guy passing me a note through his friend.' She also stated that when her tour is over she would take a bit of time off to sort things out and to reflect about the past ten years.

"It doesn't mean I won't be creating", she said. "I want to slow down for a moment, for some healing".

"Do I look pathetic?" she asks in one scene, putting her hands over her face to cover her tears. "It's hard", she said, "but it's liberating too". "There's nothing you can do, beyond filming".

From the beginning of the documentary, the subject of the Super Bowl is front and center - the film opens with Gaga suspended in the air, moments before the show begins. The bell sleeves, floral bursts, and tattered hem gave it timeless, rock "n" roll flair, and the whole ensemble made Gaga feel like she was "wearing angel wings".

The documentary surrounding Lady Gaga in a series of events was able to capture the many sides of the artist as a whole.

"There is an element and a very strong piece of me that believes that pain is a microphone". My pain does me no good unless I transform it into something that is. "I really think we'll get it", she says. "I hope that people watching it that struggle with chronic pain know they are not alone".

In her new documentary "Gaga: Five Foot Two," which follows her during the release of her 2016 album "Joanne", Gaga breaks down when discussing her rocky relationship with then-fiancé Kinney.
