Details of the new model are thin on the ground, but at the front the firm has extended the car's grille in order to make it appear wider.

This, here, is the all-new Dacia Duster, or, the 2018 Renault Duster if you're reading this in the Middle East. Not all the money saving comes from cars; it's in the business model: where we produce the cars, the fact Dacia are sold off the back of the Renault network, often in the same dealership.

The crease lines of the bonnet, meanwhile, are also much more pronounced than before. Additionally, there's also a wider, satin chrome finish rear skid plate.

Now a new (or perhaps just reworked) version has been revealed, ahead of its world premiere in the metal at the Frankfurt motor show on September 12.

On the flanks, the higher belt line adds to the impression of strength and safety. There are new aluminium finished roof bars as well along with the new 17-inch alloy wheels that sport a rather interesting design. All-New Duster's adventurer pedigree and ability to stray off the beaten track is expressed by the latest version's updated design. The windscreen has been brought forward 100mm compared to the current Duster and is more steeply raked.

At the rear, horizontal lines and lights at the extreme corners boost Duster's solid appearance. The prominent silver skid plates on the front and rear of the vehicle are said to be scratch resistant too.

In March, Renault launched Dacia MCV Stepway, a new multi convivial vehicle (MCV) model.

Dacia will reportedly launch the updated Duster to the United Kingdom market during the summer of next year. However, the 2018 Duster doesn't look all that different in profile.

Dacia has renewed Duster (sold under Renault in India) which boasts modern, all-new robust styling. That'll mean buyers get a choice of a 1.2-litre petrol and a 1.5-litre diesel, along with two- or four-wheel-drive.
