Only one winning ticket for the $759 million Powerball jackpot was sold, in MA.

"I had a pipe dream, and my pipe dream finally came true", she added, explaining that she had hoped to retire early from Mercy Medical Center, where she has worked for 32 years.

Wanczyk was joined at the ceremony by her mother and her sisters, who traveled from Chicopee. Reporters had descended on the Watertown store hours before it opened around 6:30 a.m.

Wanczyk said she bought two quick-pick tickets and a third ticket for which she picked out the numbers herself, and the latter was the lucky one.

According to the AP, six tickets sold are worth $2 million each, 34 tickets won $1 million prizes.

Watertown is the suburb to which the Boston Marathon bombers fled.

Last year's world-record $1.6 billion Powerball jackpot was shared by three winners in California, Florida and Tennessee.

Store owner Bolduc said that he plans to donate the $50,000 commission he'll collect for selling a jackpot victor, to local charities with a primary focus on education and children.

"This wonderful Powerball run was not only great fun for players, it produced tremendous new funding - more than $36 million - for programs that benefit older Pennsylvanians", said Lottery Executive Director Drew Svitko.

These prizes have since expired, so even if someone found the winning tickets today, they'd be out of luck.

The winning numbers were 06-07-16-23-26, with a Powerball number of 04. Mega Millions had a $393 jackpot victor on August 11.

The game is available in 44 states, Washington, D.C., and the U.S. Virgin islands. The jackpot is the second largest in USA history.

Players have 180 days from the date of the drawing to claim their prizes.

In addition to the ticket bought in Waynesboro, three other tickets won $200,000 in Virginia.

The $700 million prize reflects the annuity option, paid over 29 years.

The odds of winning the giant prize is one in 292.2 million.
