PlayStation Now Making Its Way To PC

There has been no mention of a price change for PC users.

The PlayStation Now service launched in the United Kingdom last summer, serving as an alternative to PS3 backwards compatibility on PS4. However, these games will only work with Sony's Dual Shock 4 controller, and you'll need to buy that for your PC, and this will cost Rs.3,950.

The Bitbag reported that for gamers to fully enjoy their experience playing Playstation via PC, the Dualshock 4 could be used in PC via a wireless USB adaptor. It obviously led a lot of developers to develop some of the best games including the Uncharted series, The Last of Us, God of War series and many more exclusives. You won't need to do this every time you use your PS4, with the console remaining logged in for the most part, unless you manually log out.

The adapter is expected to launch early September for $24.99. The service will first be available in Europe before hitting North America "shortly thereafter".

To access them, the player can hook up their PlayStation DualShock 4 controller to the computer using either a USB cable or Bluetooth, however, Sony has also revealed a new device for PCs that may not have Bluetooth connectivity.

Lempel also teased "exciting games that will be added to the library" soon. To run PS Now, user's PC should feature Windows 7 (SP1) or higher OS versions; 3.5GHz Intel Core i3 or 3.8GHz AMD A10 or faster processor; 2GB RAM or more; and a sound card. It is recommended to use Sony's DualShock 4, which can be connected wirelessly via the USB Wireless Adaptor. Over 400 game titles are available and the list of titles can be found on the official Playstation Now blog.

No one wants to be hacked, so it's great to see Sony implement a 2-step verification system for PSN.

While Microsoft has made a decision to let its September lineup for its Games with Gold program get its big reveal a tad bit early, Sony have been holding on to their list of free games a little bit longer.
